Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd first began training in combat sports at the age of 14. After a kickboxing training session, wrestling BJJ and BJJ, she made her amateur debut against Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she turned 18. Ladd went on an impressive 3-fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat. In each of the three bouts she beat her opponent in the very first round. She then went back to WCFC in which she beat Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen was first beaten by Silvia Babyghian before going on to take on Maddy Simmons at WCFC 9 and fought Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia outclassed Aspen and beat her in a unanimous decision to put a blemish on Ladd's amateur record. Ladd defeated Roma Pawelek on Tuff n Uff, and increased her record for amateurs to 8-1. Aspen made her pro debut in 2015 after signing to Invicta FC. Invicta eleven saw Aspen slay Ana Carolina Vidal to score TKO victory in the opening round. Invicta 16, she was able to move into the Bantamweight division after winning the fight against Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen employed her skills in wrestling to knock out McGill by TKO in the third-round (elbows and punches). Aspen was then able to face Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 with a weight of 138.1lb. Ladd was not in a position to make it, however Aspen was victorious and defeated Hoy by TKO. Invicta FC 21, she was victorious in her last fight for the promotion with a unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. She dominated Lina with a combination of ground and pound. She won the TKO round later in the second. Ladd remained in the lead and picked up another victory over Tonya Avinger in UFC 229 with her next bout. Ladd defeated Evinger in the very first round and earned a reward for her performance on the night. Her first major fight in The UFC Fight Night dos Anjos Vs. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. Ladd took home the fight of the night bonus, after both fighters had an intense fight back and forth. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd within 16-seconds, ending her winning streak. Yana Knitskaya fell by Ladd in the third round of UFC 7 on ESPN. For a rematch She fought Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. Her defeat was decided by unanimous decision.
