Alison Krauss

Alison Krauss, a bluegrass fiddler from Tennessee at age 19, became a national celebrity in 1990 after winning the Grammy Award in 1990 for Best Bluegrass Album. It was an accomplishment not just due to Krauss's old age, but because the album that earned her such recognition, I've Got That Old Feeling is actually the third release in Krauss's catalog. Too Late To Cry is her debut album. It was released in Champaign Illinois as she was 16. at the age of 14, she signed her first contract in the form of Rounder Records - one of the world's most respected folk-based labels. Her achievements in such a short time and her incredible virtuosity has always bested her devotion to bluegrass, the oldest and possibly the most neglected, of traditional American musical forms. Krauss is now an experienced artist and producer having gained experience from her time as a teenager superstar. Alison Alison Alison
